Transportation Driver, Class A (Day Shift)

Job description

Minimum: Preferred: - Compliance with all federal, state and company driving regulations. - Interfacing with customers in a friendly professional manner delivering superior customer service. - Verifying assigned delivery route for the day; obtaining the proper delivery tickets and load sheets along with any other resources in order to successfully complete deliveries. - Locating assigned equipment in yard; performing a vehicle pre-trip inspection and recording any deficiencies; checking load-in trailer for stability while transporting and accurately counting product. - Locating empty equipment (bossy carts, green cases, IC racks); counting and securing equipment on pallets if warranted. - Loading equipment on trailer for return to our locations; maintaining accurate records of transported equipment. - Collecting, reviewing, and submitting accurate route settlement paperwork. - Maintaining professional and appropriate dress, hygiene and personal appearance. - Completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; maintaining safe vehicle conditions. - Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement...
