Production Engineer

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - include the following. - Partner with Aoyama Seisakusho group of companies to provide products and manufacturing processes to support the North America fastener markets. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, PLCs and equipment. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), process simulation & data analysis tools. - Experience with Toyota Production System, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Develop and manage process documentation such as work instructions, SOPs, and process control plans. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Develop and deliver technical training to technical and non-technical Team Members. - Support problem investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Includes use of poka-yoke devices. - Initiate, justify, budget, implement and manage capital projects - Support manufacturing process design, equipment selection, capability validation and process maintenance activities. - MS Office proficiency – Outlook, Excel, PowerP...
