Job description

Responsible for work in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and heavy equipment used in fleet operations. Driver's license is required. 2-3 years of mechanical experience is required. Hydraulics experience is preferred. Experience with repairing specialty equipment such as Jarraffs is preferred. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming for maximum reliability and functionality as well as helping around the yard and driving a truck half of the time. This position requires you to work at the shop and in the field locally as needed. Essential Job Functions: - Completes computer-based repair orders, reviews repair orders to ensure accuracy and completeness, and evaluates the work upon completion; maintains communications with clients on repair status. - Performs diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of Xylem vehicles and equipment to include tune-ups, overhauling engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, brakes, drive trains, generators, computer-controlled fuel injection and emission related equipment, carburetors, air conditioning, electrical, cooling, suspension, pumps, hydraulic systems, and steering. - Perf...
