Market Range: 10 Hiring Salary: $4,182.12 - $5,017.75/Monthly: THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDED POSITION FUNDED UNTIL MARCH 1, 2031: JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Research Project Coordinator performs various activities related to clinical research in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology as part of patient care services to help reduce infant mortality. This position refers to protocols and guidelines to safely and accurately complete research tasks and seeking guidance when indicated. Although not responsible for staff supervision of staff assigned to this coordinator's project(s), this position may at times be responsible for training project responsibilities to assigned staff. Implements assigned protocols with assigned staff; devises and implements protocols and data gathering methods such that all patients randomized to trials meet eligibility criteria. Performs or assists with the collection, documentation, processing and shipping of lab samples. Trains clinical or research staff to specific research protocols as indicated or assigned.
