Hourly Pay Range: $24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Physical Therapy Assistant I - Location: Chicago, IL - Full Time/Part Time: Full time - Hours: (40 hours) - Hours: M-Th 7a-7p; F 7a-6p. Hours vary with at least 2 nights until close - Required Travel: no JOB SUMMARY: Treats and progresses patients under the direction of a physical therapist. Responsible, along with licensed Physical Therapist, for patient and family education as well as timely and accurate documentation and ongoing communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals What you will do: - Carries out treatment programs as determined by a licensed Physical Therapist. - Appropriately treats patients per program as designed using therapeutic techniques and modalities. - Instructs and educates patients and families as appropriate. - Keeps timely and accurate documentation of patient progress and status per department protocol.
