What we’re looking for: The Transmission & Power Markets Engineer supports Nexamp’s Utility-Scale Solar + Storage Business Development team by leading the analytical work needed to understand transmission and interconnection opportunities, risks, and costs across target ISO/ RTOs. This role evaluates transmission constraints, pricing, congestion, and curtailment risk to inform site selection, queue strategy, project sizing, and investment decisions for utility-scale solar and storage projects. It is well-suited to candidates with a power systems background or technical project/program management experience in the power sector who are comfortable owning analytical workstreams while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
