Overview Element has an opportunity for a Materials Testing Technician to join our rapidly expanding team in Warren, MI. Materials Test Technician conducts materials testing on components / representative material to evaluate properties such as tensile strength, tensile elongation, compression, wear, abrasion, scratch, mar, impact, chemical resistance, fogging, flammability, odor, color, gloss, haze, adhesion, etc. This role supports product development, quality assurance, and certification in industries like aerospace, automotive and manufacturing Our Warren 11 Mile facility provides complete full-vehicle, subsystem, and component testing for automotive, transportation, aerospace, defense, commercial, and industrial customers. The laboratory’s capabilities span climatic and environmental simulation, fuels and fluids testing, polymer and composite analysis, materials testing, corrosion, vibration, hydraulic and dynamics testing, and advanced hybrid and electric vehicle battery testing.
