Description Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care and supports physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care. The RN assesses patient needs, educates patients and families, and maintains accurate clinical documentation while following all regulatory and safety standards. Supervisory Responsibilities : N/A: Reports to: Back Office Team Leads, Practice Administrator and Physicians FLSA Status : Nonexempt: Requirements: Essential Functions: - Monitors and responds to triage calls in person and/or on the nurse phone line. - Talks directly to patients on the telephone and then directs them to emergency rooms (ERs), urgent care centers or treating physicians as needed. - Determines urgency of seeing the patient based on brief assessment and on familiarity with a patient’s condition and history. - Provides appropriate home health advice to patients who do not need to go directly to the ER based on guidelines created by physicians and the company. - Ensures accurate notes of all consultations and treatments are recorded in the patients’ records via Electronic Health Record (EMR) system. - Arranges appointments for patients who do not need to...
