Description We are looking for an experienced and driven candidate to join our Team as an Estimator! You will get to work with outstanding leadership and management to support our business! Our Estimator will prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals, requests, and requirements. This is a hands-on position accountable for developing and executing plans that will enable the Company to achieve its sales goal. Responsibilities: - Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents. - Work with managers to estimate man hours for projects. - Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Will use P&L for updated pricing. - Contact subcontractors (i.e. crane companies) and vendors to get estimates to be included in quotes. - Match vendor payment and warranty terms to proposal terms. - Negotiate pricing, quality, and quantity terms with suppliers. - Develop market database to support pricing strategy. - Prepare job forecast by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and present weekly to management team. - Follow up on outstanding and lost bids. - Various inventory and purchasing functions. - Keeps full...
