Assistant Director of Nursing Position Summary: At Stony Brook Medicine, under the general direction of the Director of Nursing Support Services, this position of TH Assistant Director of Nursing/House-wide Supervisor has the responsibility for coordinating all administrative and clinical matters pertaining to the administration, coordination, and supervision of nursing activities in the hospital. These duties encompass, but are not limited to, supervision and guidance of clinicians, evaluation of patient care practices, implementation of Performance Improvement monitoring, and participation in decision making activities. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.
