Press Brake, CNC, & Turret Machine Operator

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Selecting and positioning dies and punches in the bed and ram of press - Programming stops on machine and repositioning stock to run through steps required to form parts to completion - Verifying dimensions of work piece - Performing First Piece Inspection as required - Manually programming controller to required specifications - Must have previous experience operating press machines ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Understanding of lock out/tag out procedures and ability to use when appropriate - Maintain a high level of productivity and quality - Follow work center procedures as defined - Must be able to understand and follow instructions given in job routers - Document and notify Quality of any discrepancies and/or nonconformance's - Note any changes and/or recommendations that are needed for future production runs - Inspect finished products and parts by comparing them with blueprints and boundary samples - Ability to use grinders and other hand tools as necessary EDUCATION, SKILLS, & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D. - Certificate from technical school and/or six months related experience - Math Skills : Basic math skills...
