Position: Child Watch and Placement Support (CWOP) Specialist Classification: Full-time, Exempt Reports to: Manager, Permanency Company: Texans Together Location: Region 6b - Bay Area/Montgomery area Position Description: The CWOP Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of children entering or transitioning placements within the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) network. This position is responsible for coordinating and documenting both initial and subsequent placements, supporting placement stability through close partnership with caregivers and providers, and providing direct supervision to children when an immediate placement is not available. The Specialist serves as key liaison between the SSCC, contracted providers, and state partners to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in placement processes. THIS POSITION SERVES THE BAY AREA/MONTGOMERY, COMPRISED OF 12 COUNTIES (Waller, Montgomery, Liberty, Chambers, Galveston, Brazoria, Wharton, Fort Bend, Colorado, Austin, and Walker) SURROUNDING BUT EXCLUDING HARRIS COUNTY.
