Maintenance Planner

Job description

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Planner for a local client in Glen Rock, PA. Essential Functions: - Maintain and manage the Maintenance Parts Inventory to ensure essential parts are always available. - Reorder parts as necessary to maintain adequate inventory levels. - Source and evaluate suppliers, for both parts and services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and timely deliveries. - Collaborate with suppliers to identify suitable replacements for obsolete or discontinued parts. - Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. - Update and manage the CMMS with accurate parts information, including part numbers, descriptions, quantities, costs and locations. - Organize and maintain the parts storage area, ensuring easy access and proper storage of items. - Track the usage of parts and materials, reporting any trends or issues to the Director of Facilities and Engineering. - Review and compile work orders, PM tasks, and submittals from mechanics. - Create, update, and revise work instructions and PM documents. - Handle other maintenance-related documentation as directed by the Director of Facilities and Engineering - Enter, update, an...
