IF PREVIOUSLY APPLIED NO NEED TO REAPPLY: THIS POSTING IS TO FILL THE CURRENT VACANCY AND TO ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST TO FILL ANY FUTURE VACANCIES THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Industrial Management, or related field is required. Six years of progressively responsible experience in rail operations or as a Rail Controller, four of which should be in a supervisory capacity is required. Direct experience required in dealing with union representatives, track allocations procedures, coordination during special events and emergency situations, and developing operation plans. Must have knowledge of management of operational and administrative programs of considerable scope. Must be able to work under extreme pressure given tight deadlines and adverse working conditions. Must have creative problem-solving skills to ensure proper equipment operations, maintenance and modification. Directly related work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of educational requirement.
