G&W Equipment is seeking a hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead HR for a growing, multi-location organization of approximately 350 employees in NC, SC and GA. This role partners closely with leadership and is responsible for both strategy and day-to-day execution across all HR functions. This is an onsite position with travel to branch locations as needed. This is a player-coach leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong HR Generalist background who is a practical, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in managing multiple priorities and staying involved in the details. Qualifications: - Serve as the primary resource for employee relations, including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution - Coach managers and ensure consistent application of policies across multiple locations - Manage compensation programs and oversee benefits administration (self-insured experience preferred) - Provide oversight and support for payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance - Lead recruiting strategy, workforce planning, and onboarding processes - Manage and optimize HRIS systems (UKG preferred), reporting, and key metrics - Partner with Safety on OSHA,...
