Clay County - Small Towns. Big Passions. Pay: $18.16 - $21.25 The Range Safety Officer (RSO) enforces safe firearm handling. RSO is accountable for executing all Range Safety Processes and as such, must pay attention to the range while maintaining a strong mental focus on safety, must be able to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while remaining constantly vigilant to ensure the safety of all guests and Clay County Outdoor Adventure Park staff. This is a part-time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure unwavering control over the safety of all range guests and Clay County Outdoor Adventure Park team members by observing all users and respectfully, but immediately, addressing any behavior that could be considered unsafe. Assist in billing, sales, cash handling, and with membership plans. Enforces all safety range rules and regulations. Must monitor all activity on the range at all times. Assist in all manners pertaining to firing on the range. Must have expansive knowledge about operation of firearms and ammunition.
