Job description

Schedule: Part time, rotating schedule for the 5:30am- 2:00pm and 10:00am- 6:30pm shifts Responsibilities: Qualifications: With 15 hospitals, including seven with Magnet designation and eight with Pathways to Excellence designation, our team members are leading the way through excellence. - Performs supervised tasks related to the preparation of food. - Meal preparations include regular and therapeutic diets. - Utilizes foundational skills of basic cooking techniques, operates kitchen equipment and maintains a clean and organized work space. - High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred. - No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred. - Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment. - Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. - Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption. - Requires the ability to climb ladders. - Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting suppl...
