Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse I Department: Orthopedic Surgery: Location: RGH: Hours Per Week: Full Time/36 hours per week Schedule: Straight Shift- Days. Every other weekend/holidays. SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’re the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. The Inpatient Orthopedic Unit (3800) is a 16-bed, newly renovated unit specializing in joint replacements, spinal surgeries, upper extremity procedures, general surgeries, and orthopedic trauma. RNs on 3800 provide direct bedside care, patient education, pain management, post-op recovery support, and discharge planning. The unit also operates as a Virtual Nursing Unit , with RNs committing to one virtual care shift per week as part of their schedule.
