Job Title: Off-Road Dump Truck Operator Job Summary: The Off Road Dump Truck Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Will operate equipment not limited to cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools. Duties and Responsibilities: - Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery, such as power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders, dozers, graders, mining equipment, or backhoes. - Set up or inspect equipment prior to and after operation. - Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications. - Read and interpret c...
