We are seeking a Transportation / Traffic Planning Engineer to support private land development projects by analyzing traffic impacts, designing innovative solutions, and engaging with regulatory agencies. This role is integral to evaluating transportation needs and developing mobility strategies that align with project goals. The following skills will be required for this position: - Perform traffic impact analyses, trip generation studies, and intersection capacity evaluations. - Develop traffic models using industry-standard software (Synchro, HCS, PTV Visum, Cube Voyager). - Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and documentation for land development projects. - Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and developers to optimize transportation solutions. - Assist with traffic signal improvements, access management strategies, and roadway design. - Engage with local agencies and jurisdictions to secure approvals for traffic studies and design recommendations.
