Position Summary: At Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Medical Assistants are more than clinical support, they are essential members of the patient care team. In this full-time role, you’ll work directly with a provider to deliver efficient, high-quality orthopedic care in a fast-paced clinical environment. You’ll assist with exams, procedures, and patient education while ensuring each individual feels supported and cared for throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Support - Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are fully stocked and organized for the day - Escort patients to rooms, take vital signs, and update EMR with accurate documentation - Assist with in-office procedures including injections, dressing changes, and suture removals - Support provider during exams by anticipating needs and maintaining patient comfort - Educate patients on post-visit instructions and coordinate follow-ups as directed Patient Flow & Teamwork: - Collaborate with fellow CAs, providers, and administrative staff to keep the clinic running smoothly - Communicate clearly with patients and teammates to reduce delays and confusion - Float to nearby clinics as needed to support staffing coverage a...
