The manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or a group of patient care units within Nursing Services. The manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values. Department Overview: Collaborates with the clinical nurse specialist and/or clinical educator to identify, plan, and implement an educational program pertinent to the service and for all level of staff. - Labor and Delivery: 10 labor beds + Antepartum rooms - OB ED: 6 beds total - OB ORs: 2 operating rooms - Births: Approximately 180 month/2200 per year - Deliveries: 31weeks or 1500 grams - NICU: Level 2 - Teams: Include OB Hospitalists, OB groups, Midwifery, MFM - 24/7 Services: Anesthesia, OB Hospitalist and Neonatology - Accountable for ensuring the provision of patient car...
