Role Overview The waste intern will assist with waste reduction and diversion projects at Butler University that may include conducting waste audits, planning and implementing behavior change programs, reducing single-use plastics, inventorying and updating waste bins and associated signage, analyzing and tracking waste data analysis, and/or other waste-related initiatives. Focus area depends on current campus sustainability needs. $12/hour, ~10 hours per week over the semester, optional credit can be earned. Qualifications: Proficiency with MS Office including basic Excel data entry experience Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in writing or in person Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while staying organized Comfort pivoting between high-level, strategic work and smaller tasks Ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and exercise good judgment Desire to collaborate with campus partners and other sustainability interns ***APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS***: *Students who do not submit a cover letter will not be considered for this position. - Professional resume - Cover let...
