LOCATION: The Salvation Army - Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center - Phoenix, Arizona SUPERVISOR: Aquatics Manager: STATUS: Full time/ Non-Exempt: MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. QUALIFICATIONS: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must be able to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor CPR/ AED & First aid instructor, and Water Safety Instructor. - Must have a minimum of a year or more experience as a certified lifeguard. - Meet and deal tactfully and effectively with the public; work cooperatively with others; analyze situations and adopt a quick and effective course of action. - Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Meet all health & safety regulations as defined by the Health Department & The Salvation Army. - Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check. - Split shifts schedule may be required to meet the needs of the center. - Have the ability to work wit...
