How you make a difference The Travel Mental Health Professional is responsible for traveling to different locations to offer clinical services to individuals under the guidance of the MH Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, or MH Director. This role also involves providing mental health consultation and training to facility staff. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in mental health treatment and counseling. Additional Details: We are looking for a traveling Mental Health Professional to support our correctional facilities in IL, WI, MI, MI and OH. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: - Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university. Experience: - Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation. - Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time.
