Job Overview The Maintenance Operative is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This position will be a weekend shift - the hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5a-5p A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Ability to work safely on variety of equipment to carry out preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance. - Trouble shoot electronic, hydraulic and electromechanical equipment (including, turret punches, laser, Mechanical/hydraulic power presses, and other specialized equipment) - Read, interpret and program PLC controllers and languages - Determine root cause of equipment failures and develop preventative measures - Perform electrical/mechanical fabrication and alterations - Diagnose machine operation failures and downtime utilizing machine manuals, PLCs and other tools, including diagrams, wiring layouts, blueprints, schematics etc. - Inspect, operate or test machinery/equipment to diagnose machine malfunctio...
