Overview Location: Camp CONNRI (Ashford, CT): Status: Non-exempt, Full-time (June-August), Casual (August - early May) Hours Per Week: 40 (May - early August) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (includes two 15-minute paid breaks per day) Scope of Position: Maintain the grounds and facilities of Camp CONNRI & Lodge to the highest standards, ensuring that our campers and visitors have the best possible experience. Uphold a hygienic and clean environment by performing daily cleaning tasks as assigned. Responsibilities: - Assist in reopening the youth camp in the spring, including but not limited to cleaning cabins, kitchens, and other seasonal buildings. - Assist all groups and youth camps with their routine needs. - Assist in cleaning up blood or body fluids containing blood-borne pathogens. - Assist in closing the youth camp in the fall, which includes securing buildings, cleaning cabins, and storing supplies and equipment. - Assist with all deliveries, pick-ups, and related activities. - Attend to the daily upkeep of assigned areas and equipment with minimal supervision. - Carry out janitorial duties, including mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, washing windows, p...
