Job Description As the Principal Government Affairs Advisor for Blue Cross NC and CuraCor Goup, this position plays a critical role in leading the development and implementation of comprehensive federal public affairs strategies to promote and advocate for our commercial and government insurance and healthcare delivery interests with executive and legislative branches, regulators, and key external stakeholders. Location Requirement: This role is open only to candidates who are currently located in North Carolina, Maryland, or Virginia . What You’ll Do: Serve as lobbyist and point of entry representative for Blue Cross NC with the North Carolina executive, legislative and administrative branches, boards and commissions and external policy organizations. Monitor and provide analysis and representation on state executive, legislative and regulatory activity to influence policy makers; promote and secure legislation and regulation; plan and execute strategies to ensure that legislation, regulation and state and local policies support Blue Cross NC goals and positions.
