Job Summary-: **The hourly rate for this position is $35.41/hour** General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking Machinist's to join our Saco Operations team. We are about supporting the mission of the warfighter. Our products can be found with every U.S. Military branch with allies around the world. We are looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help shape and support this organization. The NC Miller #1 will operate, and set up multiaxis numerical control (NC) and computer numerical control (CNC) machining centers. Responsibilities-: Performs any combination of machining operations such as milling, facing, threading, drilling, reaming, and profiling of metal castings, forgings, bar stock, etc. May operate and maintain set up of welding machines, or robots that weld. Follows established company directives, policies, military specifications, quality documents and manufacturing instructions. Establish reference points as they relate to the workpiece tape, (Memory) interface. Bolt fixtures to machine beds and tables. Positions workpiece in f...
