Job description
Performs patient assessment, determines priority of care and provides any immediate interventions, analyzes assessment data, formulates and implements plan of care and evaluates for effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff and in accordance with the policies and procedures of IHN. Certification/Licensure: - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey as required by law. You must be enrolled within six months of hire or rehire in a CCNE or NLNAC accredited BSN or MSN program (or foreign equivalent) with a graduation date that falls on or before the employee’s third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. * - BSN or MSN graduates preferred - *Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: - Hired on or before June 1, 2013 - IMC - Hired on or before August 4, 2015 – IMCW - One-year clinical experience required. - Two (2) years ED experience preferred for per diem positions. - Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing. - American Heart Association BLS required. - American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire. - American Heart Association PALS required within 6 mon...
