The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. Responsibilities: - Work directly with project managers and engineers to develop efficient, cost-effective solutions to a variety of construction challenges - Create comprehensive cost estimates to drive decision making - Develop strategic supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and pricing, act as primary point of contact for key Las Vegas based suppliers. - Assist in development and implementation of purchasing systems and processes to improve company efficiency - Execute all purchase orders for Las Vegas operation; handle purchases quickly and without error.
