May perform all or a combination of the following duties to facilitate food and/or beverage service to guests in the food and or beverage areas of facility. DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None: KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: - Provide friendly, prompt, and accurate food and/or beverage refreshment service to guests. - Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and/or drinks. - Takes orders from guests, and process order in point of sales system. - Relays order to kitchen or bartender, delivers to guest appropriately. - Observes guests, anticipates needs, and responds accordingly. - Finalizes check. - Clears and resets tables at conclusion of meal. - Follows prescribed sanitary safeguards in handling all food and cleaning all surfaces. - Checks out with immediate supervisor. - Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions. EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
