The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) invites applications for a full-time academic position in Transplant Hepatology. We are seeking a Gastroenterologist or Internal Medicine specialist with advanced training in liver transplantation and hepatology. The successful candidate must hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or be eligible for such certification. Completion of a recognized fellowship in Transplant Hepatology or significant clinical experience at a major academic liver transplant center is required. As this is an academic appointment, the candidate must possess a postgraduate research degree (Master’s or PhD) or have a strong record of scholarly productivity in clinical or translational research, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and academic engagement.
