Description The Department of Economics at the University of Rochester seeks a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction in Economics, in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in teaching the Economic Way of Thinking to endow our students with the ability to apply the tools of economics to a wide variety of settings. The candidate is expected to teach all levels of economics, from introductory courses to specialized electives. This is a renewable, non-tenure-track position. Job Responsibilities: Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000. The referenced pay represents the full base range of pay for this job. Individual salaries will be determined by the job’s salary range and established based on market data, and experience and expertise of the candidate.
