Position Summary: Under direct supervision, direct the activities of a group of flowline employees. Setup,adjust and maintain various production machines. Perform expediting and layout functions, service operators, monitor quality, maintain productions flow and assure that production quotas are met. Supervision is available. Duties and Responsibilities: - Read Blueprints, sketches and operation sheets to make setups. Use various gages and measuring instruments. Tools, Feeds and speeds are usually predetermined. Instruct operators on proper operating procedures, practices and quantities to run. - Periodically check operators and setups to insure proper operation and that quality and safety standards are being maintained.
