Job Description We’re seeking an experienced and highly skilled engineering leader to drive the architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of platforms that power JPMorgan’s Alternative Investments business. As a Senior Vice President, you will set technical direction, lead teams, and partner closely with product, architecture, controls, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient systems for a portfolio that spans over $170bn in assets and 300+ fund investments across private equity, growth equity & venture capital, private credit, private real estate, and private infrastructure. Job responsibilities: - Lead and actively contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-quality applications aligned to the Alternatives business. - Build event-driven Java, Spring Boot microservices; contribute directly to the codebase. - Architect and operate scalable systems leveraging Kafka, k8s, MSK and AWS services. - Drive program collaboration across cross-functional teams. - Drive adoption of domain-driven design; participate in and guide architecture discussions. - Define and maintain documentation of service APIs (e.g. Swagger/OpenAPI). - Lead an...
