Job Title: Senior - Educational Opportunities Section (EOS) Job Category: Service Contract Act: Time Type: Full time: Minimum Clearance Required to Start: DOJ MBI Employee Type: Regular: Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local: - * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the Educational Opportunities Section (EOS) of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice (DOJ). Nearly 70 years ago, in Brown v. Board of Education, the Supreme Court held that the intentional segregation of students on the basis of race in public schools violates the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Subsequent federal legislation and court decisions further mandate that school officials not discriminate against students on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, language barriers, religion, or disability. The Educational Opportunities Section enforces these statutes and court decisions across a diverse range of cases involving elementary and secondary schools, as well as institutions of higher education . This is not a remote position; on-site presence in Washington, DC is required five days per week. Travel within the continental U...
