Job Title: Tactical Radio Specialist (TACSPEC) Job Category: Engineering: Time Type: Full time: Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular: Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 50% Type of Travel: Continental US: Tactical Radio Specialist. Provides Senior level project management, administrative and engineering support for Sponsor communications-based projects. - * * Required Skills: TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance - Six (6) or more years direct experience with Sponsor tactical communications projects and design including ICOM/Motorola/Harris equipment and its use. Experience with programming and installing tactical radio equipment. - Bachelors Degree (Equivalent Experience may be Substituted for Educational Requirement) - Direct experience with Sponsor systems including BASIS, GENESIS, approval memos and message preparation. - Solid background in and understanding of current installation procedures (CIP) and field training of personnel. - Ability to explain technical procedures and processes and results of site surveys clearly and accurately. - Strong knowledge of tactical systems - Ability to completely understand and respond to customers co...
