Job Summary: The 1:1 Teacher Assistant provides individualized, in-class and school-day support to a student with disabilities to promote access, engagement, independence, and progress toward IEP goals. The role partners closely with the teacher, therapists, and the family to implement accommodations, collect data, and ensure safety across settings. Job Responsibilities: Instructional & IEP Support Implement teacher-designed lessons, accommodations, and modifications; pre-teach/re-teach skills. Prepare/adapt materials (visuals, manipulatives, AAC support, task analysis). Collect daily progress data on IEP/behavior goals, report observations to the teacher.
