Job Summary: Part-time Security Officer 1 employees may be considered for future employment as police officers when such positions are available. Job Duties: - Maintains good working relationships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency management agencies. - Enforces campus policies and procedures. - Completes preliminary offenses reports when those are committed on campus and a certified police officer is unavailable. - Forwards same to a certified officer for investigation and completion. - Properly uses and maintains all law enforcement equipment. - Properly and accurately prepares reports.
