Job description

We are seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join our Saint John operations. This role is ideal for a motivated and hands-on leader who is passionate about logistics excellence, customer service, and developing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day Third-Party Logistics operations, execute resource plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support the growth and effectiveness of the 3PL Department. Operational Leadership: - Oversee and execute daily logistics operations to ensure service commitments, customer deadlines, and delivery requirements are consistently met - Ensure booking processes are followed, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, customer quoting, shipment tracking and tracing, and client updates - Provide daily planning and workload prioritization for the logistics team - Monitor workflow and address operational issues proactively in a data driven environment using transportation/logistics systems, reports, and basic data analysis (e.g., trends, volumes, service performance) Customer & Stakeholder Management: - Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional responses to inquiries - Bu...
