Job Summary Corporate I&C/ Digital Design engineer for Salem and Hope Creek is responsible to providing support for all Digital and I&C design basis activities assigned to them in support of the safe and efficient operation of the Generating Stations. Represents, leads, develops overall strategies and influences decision-making for performance of the assigned design discipline. Provides support for routine design assessments, outage readiness and preparation for outside organizational assessments (i.e. INPO). Job Responsibilities: - The Design Engineers job responsibilities include: configuration changes, setpoint calculations, engineering evaluations, Corrective Action Program, Environmental Qualification, support shift coverage for refueling outages, support license change requests, support plant engineering emergent design related requests, 50.59 preparation/reviews and technical evaluations. - The successful individual will be able to fulfill an LRE (lead responsible engineer) role for configuration changes and capital projects.
