JOB PURPOSE: In conjunction with the Center’s mission, provides comprehensive dental care in a patient- centered, quality oriented manner while also providing clinical supervision and instruction to the AEGD Residents and dental students The primary goal of the El Rio Health Dentist is to support El Rio’s Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions. Essential Job Functions: - Performs in a timely manner the administrative duties associated with the practice of dentistry, including chart documentation, the completion of referrals and pre-authorizations, lab case follow-up, and chart review and attending duties for the dental residents and dental students. - Participates in the Center’s Quality Assurance Program and peer review process. - Follows and complies with all OSHA regulations, guidelines, and established Center- wide policies and procedures regarding employee safety, infection control and sterilization. - Follows and complies with all HIPPA regulations, guidelines and established Center-wide policies and procedures regarding patient c...
