Summary: The Fuel Driver is responsible for operating a commercial tanker truck to deliver fuel to various locations while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This is a crucial role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to safety, and a commitment to efficient delivery. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial tanker truck to transport fuel (gasoline, diesel, etc.) to designated locations. - Adhere to compliance with all DOT regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections and hazardous materials handling. - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck and ensure all safety equipment is in place and operational. - Secure and load/unload hazardous materials, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel quantities, and compliance paperwork, including logs of hazardous materials transportation. - Adhere to company policies and procedures related to fuel transportation, including safety and environmental r...
