Utility Ops Technician II - Utilities Operations - ( 2602668 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or GED or equivalent years of education, experience, and/or training, and four (4) years of journeyman experience (in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or Stationary Engineering) or 2 years of experience with Trane/York Chillers, Combustion Turbine Generators, and District Heating and Cooling Distribution Loops. Must be capable of demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job in a post-offer employment test as administered by UTMB Rehab Services. This job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from the floor to the knuckle and 50lbs. from the knuckle to the shoulder, and requires frequent bending, standing, and walking. Required: Valid Class C Driver's license. Job Summary: Perform journeyman-level operation of equipment and machinery in the utilities plant. Maintain the necessary technical skills to repair, maintain, inspect, and operate Utilities production, distribution, and energy management equipment.
