Job Details Join Our Team as a Patient Escort I – Evening Shift (Full-Time) Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in a healthcare setting? We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Patient Escort I to join our team and support patient care by ensuring safe and timely transportation throughout the hospital. Position Details: Location: Christiana Hospital – Newark Campus Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 AM Additional Requirements: Every other weekend and participation in a holiday rotation What You’ll Do: Safely transport patients via stretcher, wheelchair, bed, or specialized vehicle to and from various hospital departments. Assist clinical staff with patient transfers. Maintain and care for transport equipment. Attend training sessions and departmental meetings. Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or unsafe conditions. What We’re Looking For: Education: High school diploma preferred. Experience: 2 years of customer service experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Certification: Must be able to obtain BLS certification upon hire.
