Summary Reporting directly to the SVP of Platform Engineering, the Director of IT Platforms is responsible for leading the development of platforms (Cloud, DevSecOps, Testing...) to support the broader technology organization at Mapfre. They understand the needs of the teams, help create a compelling product vision, and lead development teams through their execution on that vision. They also ensure our platforms are properly supported, as critically systems that they are. Through this work and beyond, the Director of IT Platforms plays a key role in setting the overall technical direction for our organization and is a key advisor to Mapfre's CIO. Responsibilities: - As a member of the IT Management team and in collaboration with the other managers, contribute to and lead projects and activities defined to transform the way the Mapfre USA IT team operates, specifically in the areas of Cloud, DevSecOps and Testing Automation. - Establish a close working relationship with all IT teams providing technical guidance to assist in decision making. - Advocate for company policies, methodologies, team standards, and technical approaches in place, and contribute to their evolution. - Particip...
