Job Description: The Medication Technician assists resident with medications under supervision of a licensed nurse. Assists by performing routine resident related care duties and activities of daily living. PRINCIPLE DUTIES: - The Medication Technician accepts, accounts and documents all new medications brought into the facility. Safely prepares and aides with resident self-administration of medications. Maintains accurate medication documentation and records. - Guides the resident in maintaining his/her schedule of daily activities, while maintaining the resident’s sense of independence.
