Summary: Jefferies Equity Research is seeking an experienced associate to join the Technology and Information Services team, which covers the intersection of technology, data & analytics, and information services. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3+ years of experience. Qualifications: - Modeling financial statements and conducting fundamental research - Writing timely and actionable research reports on public companies - Tracking and analyzing industry themes, news, data and trends - Maintaining relationships with company and industry contacts - Interacting with institutional sales, corporate, and buyside clients - Attending industry events (some travel may be required) - Intellectual curiosity, avid reader, and broad-based knowledge spanning multiple industries - Excellent writing and organizational skills. Must be able to synthesize, simplify, and present complex information to a wide audience - Must have a solid understanding of finance and accounting with the ability to build complex financial models from the ground up (i.e., a modeling test is required) - Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with Excel, including ability to work with large data sets....
