Construction Project Specialist I/II/Sr - Gas

Job description

This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise. Provide technical work in the operations, maintenance and construction of transmission, distribution, and service projects on MidAmerican Energy Company's gas delivery system. Apply complex operating principles and practices in the following areas: scheduling of multiple construction projects, writing and field administration of construction contracts, monitoring contactor's work as to quality and quantity, assuring safe work policies and practices, reviewing invoicing for approval, administering change of work orders, coordinating problem solving due to job site conditions; and providing supporting documentation. Coordinate natural gas transmission, distribution, and business district leak patrols and surveys, conducted by contractors and review patrols for action items that need to be corrected. Communicate and track conditions requiring remediation to MidAmerican Energy Company engineering, operations or contractors.
